L.G. McCary is a homeschooling mom of four and wife of a military chaplain, so it takes her awhile to answer the question “Where are you from?” She started writing stories almost as soon as she could hold a pencil and kept it up through college where she majored in psychology and minored in creative writing. When the school books are put away and the kids are asleep, she writes speculative fiction, long and short, and blogs about military life, theology, writing, adventures in social awkwardness, and the sentient snowman apocalypse.
Her first novel, That Whiter Host, won third place in the speculative category at the 2018 Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference Foundation Awards. Hopefully someday it will find its way onto store bookshelves.
